At Sealer Pro LLC, we use specific soaps to treat your driveway/house/fence/roof so that we don’t have to use as much pressure to clean. We use a variety of soft wash techniques and different chemicals to treat algae, oil stains, sap and dirt. We also have extra services like rust stain removal on concrete and buildings and exterior black mold removal.
Every three to five years is the general guideline. Depending on what kind of sealer was used will depend greatly on this. A water based sealer will slowly degrade on its own over time and you will notice your pavers will be more porous and likely look dull. A solvent based sealer will start to peel or fade. We choose to use a water based sealer as they are more adaptable with Florida’s weather.
We typically wait 45 days after install to allow for the humidity in the pavers to surface also called Efflorescence. We treat all new installed pavers for Efflorescence.
Commonly known as Calcium Carbonate, efflorescence is a water and salt mixture that appears on your concrete products. Most pavers already have some sort of water-soluble salt mixed in the cement, and when moisture is combined, the paver will secrete Calcium Hydroxide to its surface. Once there, it has a chemical reaction with the carbon dioxide in the air, creating efflorescence, the white cloud to your block surface, which is water insoluble making it harder to remove. As the water evaporates, that white cloud becomes more prominent and harder to remove. Sealant protects against this white haze known as efflorescence.
Yes. Concrete is permeable and, if not sealed, will collect stains. Additionally, sealants help stop paver color fading and protects against normal wear and tear from walking and driving and the strong Florida UV rays.
Im a DIY’er myself. Unfortunately to remove irrigation rust stains you will need to hire a professional. We are able to remove MOST rust stains with certain chemicals, dilution rates and equipment. Irrigation statins on houses, buildings and fences come completely off after the first treatment 99% of the time. Irrigation stains on concrete take a few more treatments and alot more chemicals.

Paver Sealing is a process where we Clean, Re-sand, and applied a water based sealant onto your pavers. It is important to protect the pavers from eroding from the harsh Florida weather, UV rays, stains, mold and algae. Pavers are an expensive investment and they deserve to be protected.
We recommend for new pavers you seal them after 30-45 days of installation. We recommend re-sealing them every 2-3 years.
We use a water based sealer that is manufactured in Florida and specifically designed for the Florida weather. Our climate, with the humidity, heat, UV Rays and rain, is a lot different from the climate in other parts of the country. We do not recommend using Acrylic based sealer in Florida Climate.
Pressure washing can damage your pavers if you hire someone that doesn’t know what they are doing or try to do it yourself. We always recommend you leave the pressure washing to professionals.
The paver sealing process is typically a 1-2 day job based upon weather, where your pavers are located, how much sun light they receive for drying time, and our schedule alignment. We recommend 1 day before walking, 2 days before placing anything back on the pavers and 3 days before driving on pavers.

Yes, pressure washing is safe for homes. We use a style called “soft washing” that’s uses less pressure to complete the job correctly and not damage anything. If the wrong individual is hired that does not know what they are doing, the exterior of homes can and will be damaged. Using excessive pressure can damage anything, knowing how much pressure to use to get the job done correctly is why we are the professionals.
We recommend annually – mold and algae are very prevalent in Florida and can damage any surface they remain on. Paint, shingles, fences, wood, brick, stucco, and plank siding – these can all be damaged or stained by long term mold and algae. It will cost a lot more to re-paint a house or building than to have it cleaned once a year.
Soft washing using a technique where we utilize our soap to remove the dirt, mold, or algae rather that pressure from the water. We spray our soap onto the surface, let it dwell for 5-15 minutes, then rinse it off with 40-80 psi (about as much as a garden hose nozzle). Traditional pressure washers can be rated from 2000-4000 psi and is not necessary for MOST exterior cleanings.
