Your Home: Please be aware we do our best to protect your home when providing a service. A few things we see often: Door seals not fully intact – When we clean or sand we use water and can spray the doors, it is recommended to put a towel near doors that are being worked around. Sometimes sands can get in the tracks of sliding doors, we do our best to clean this out.
The Terms and Conditions are provided to protect Sealer Pro LLC as a small business and protect our customers so that we can provide the best service possible and ensure your product lasts as long as our manufacturer specifications dictate. We have been trained by our manufacturer to use the products in accordance with specific recommendations. We do our best to communicate all precautions at the time of the estimate.
Water Accumulation: When there is inadequate drainage on a driveway, water tends to accumulate and pool in certain areas, particularly at the bottom or low-lying sections. This can happen due to improper grading, lack of proper drainage systems, or other factors. Dissolved Minerals: As the water sits and remains stagnant for extended periods, it starts to evaporate. During evaporation, the water leaves behind the minerals it contains, including calcium, which may have been dissolved in the water from various sources.Calcium Precipitation: As the water evaporates, the concentration of dissolved calcium increases. When the calcium concentration surpasses its saturation point, it can no longer remain dissolved in the water. As a result, the excess calcium precipitates out of the water, forming solid deposits. Paver Interaction: If the driveway has pavers or concrete blocks, the calcium-rich water can interact with the paver surfaces. The porous nature of the pavers allows water to seep through and come into contact with the calcium deposits on the underside of the pavers. Calcium Deposition: When the water carrying dissolved calcium reaches the bottom of the pavers, it can deposit the calcium ions onto the surface of the pavers. Over time, repeated cycles of water accumulation, evaporation, and calcium deposition lead to the buildup of calcium on the paver surfaces.
The formation of calcium buildup is a gradual process that occurs over time, with the accumulation being more pronounced in areas of poor drainage. It’s important to address the drainage issues to prevent further buildup and potential damage to the driveway or pavers. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the pavers can also help in managing and removing the calcium deposits.
Without addressing the drainage, it will come back.
16) Tinting/Staining Pavers – It is important to understand when tinting pavers we do our best to match the customer expectations of desired tint color. Doing a test area helps establish a baseline, however when tinting the pavers we cannot remove what was put down. Once the customer agrees to the test area colors of the tint, we are not responsible if the customer wants to change the color or does not like the color of the tint.
